Health Insurance

The Graduate Student Medical and Dental Insurance Plan provides world-wide coverage to eligible graduate student assistants. Please contact your appointing department to determine your eligibility. The plan is designed to help you pay a portion of the medical expenses you may incur while enrolled at Washington State University. 

(If you enrolled for the insurance during online course registration by accident, please send an e-mail to hrs@wsu.edu to request cancellation. Please include your full name and WSU ID number.)

Dependent Enrollment Form

Newly acquired eligible dependents must be enrolled and the premium paid for them within 31 days after becoming eligible (e.g. new marriage, newborn child) in order to become insured. Coverage begins the day after the premium is paid. If a newly acquired dependent is not enrolled within 31 days after becoming eligible, said dependent cannot be enrolled until the next policy period.
