Application Checklist

For International Applicants 

All international applicants must submit the following items
by the appropriate deadlines in order to be considered for admission to a graduate program at WSU.

Deadlines

FOR FALL SEMESTER
(beginning mid-August)
FOR SPRING SEMESTER
(beginning mid-January)
priority deadline--Jan 10 priority deadline--July 1

 

 

 

F-1/J-1 Student visa: for those who wish to pursue studies at an accredited U.S. university.

F-2/J-2 Dependent visa: for the spouse, or minor children younger than twenty-one years, of an F-1 or J-1 student.

English proficiency requirements

All applicants must demonstrate a basic proficiency in English by submitting official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) test scores. The minimum IELTS score is 7, and the minimum MELAB score is 90. The minimum acceptable TOEFL scores are listed below:
