Admission Requirements

Students considering graduate study in electrical engineering and computer science should major in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science. Applications should include a statement of purpose giving qualifications, research interests, and goals; official college transcripts; GRE scores, and three letters of recommendation.

Program Description

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science specializes in a wide
variety of concentrations, including:

  • artificial intelligence

  • control and signal processing
  • computer architecture and digital systems
  • electrophysics
  • analog microelectronics
  • software engineering
  • networks
  • security
  • digital VLSI circuit design

Students have opportunities to work in state-of-the-art laboratories. Funding is available to highly qualified applicants.
